Earlier this week Heinz Tomato Ketchup and their London-based agency We Are Social scored well-earned international attention for their world first: selling fast moving consumer goods through Facebook, through the Limited Edition app. ‘I just bought a bottle of ketchup on Facebook‘ was something a quite a few people saw for the first time this week!

Betapond is operating the application and handling payments processed through Sagepay made in the app. Consumers who have purchased the bottle of ketchup will notice that ‘Betapond’ appears on their statement.
